Art Appreciation Teacher

aman lindaMrs. Aman has taught at HCES for over 9 years. She loves the excitement that students have for art as they learn about famous artists and find the talent that God has given them personally. She strives to help students gain skill and confidence in their work.

As a professional artist Mrs. Aman won Grand Prize at the Oregon Society of Artists for her water color "Pink Chiffon" and numerous other awards for her water colors. She shows her work in regional art shows and in galleries throughout Oregon and Washington. Mrs. Aman is a member of a number of professional art groups.

Art Appreciation Mission Statement: The purpose of art instruction at Horizon Christian Elementary School is to inspire and equip students with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to appreciate and creatively express through various mediums, God's great love, power, and the majesty of His creation to the world around them.
